Big Oak Boys’ Ranch was founded in 1974 as a Christian home for boys needing a chance and later expanded to include the Girls’ Ranch in 1988. Today, it stands as a safe, loving environment for children who have been abused, neglected, or abandoned, where they have the opportunity to fulfill God’s plan for their lives. Over the past 50 years, the Ranch has provided care for 2000+ children, giving them stability and guiding them to the true source of Hope.

“Each home on the Ranch represents not just a family that lives in each home, but OUR family that lives in each home. And together, we live this life of service, this life of helping children navigate their own trials. Yes, our faith is challenged and our patience tested. But within this testing, we experience the Love of the Father in ways we never imagined.”
—Zach and BJ,
Houseparents at Big Oak Ranch
“The stability, consistency, and accountability from the staff at the Ranch gave me a solid foundation and an example of how good life could be. I credit my success throughout adulthood to my experience at Big Oak. I will forever be grateful that I was given a chance and look forward to seeing how, I too, can serve God and His children through Big Oak Ranch.”
—Michelle Fogle,
Former Resident
“Resource Parenting has made me a much better wife and mother, and a better teacher.”
—Ann Bettis,
Resource Parent and Middle School Teacher
“Resource weekends provide a place where my girls can just go to the ballpark, go to the movies, or out to eat. It’s surrounding our kids so that they have a village.”
—Suzanne Miller,
Housemom at Big Oak Girls’ Ranch
